Nighttime Skin Routine: Wake Up to Glowing Skin
Having a regular nighttime skincare routine helps keep your skin healthy and glowing. As you sleep, your skin repairs itself, so this is a great time to use products that support its natural process.
Remove Makeup and Cleanse
Begin by removing all your makeup with a gentle cleanser or micellar water. Then use a cleanser that matches your skin type to remove any dirt, oil, or leftover products.
Exfoliate (2-3 times a week)
Exfoliating removes dead skin cells and helps your skin renew itself. Pick a gentle chemical exfoliant, such as AHAs or BHAs, or a mild scrub. Don’t exfoliate too often, as it can irritate your skin.
Toner
Toners restore your skin’s pH to normal and help it better absorb the next products. Choose one without alcohol to keep your skin from drying out.
Serums or Treatments
Serums contain powerful ingredients that target hydration, dark spots, or signs of ageing. At night, try using serums based on your skin's needs.
Moisturise
A good night cream or moisturiser helps lock in moisture and supports your skin's repair process. Look for products containing ceramides, glycerin, or squalane to nourish your skin overnight.
Eye Cream
The skin around your eyes is thin and can dry out or show fine lines easily. Gently tap some eye cream onto the skin to keep it hydrated and help reduce puffiness or dark circles.
Lip Care
End your routine by applying a moisturising lip balm to keep your lips soft and prevent chapping.
