Bold Movements - Taking Risks

Definition of Bold: (of person, action, or idea) showing a willingness to take risks; confident and courageous.

Boldness is an attitude which takes courage and believing you can do it. It is something that is grown and developed over time through action - unfortunately it's not something you can just pull out of a hat.
As an introvert I can confidently say being bold does not mean being loud and being seen by everyone rather it's about having the attitude of doing things you are afraid of doing despite the risks(obviously sensible things that do not endanger your life). In my personal opinion there is no limit to your boldness, it's a stage by stage process which is different to each individual and is never ending, there are always new levels of boldness one can attain.

With the millennial generation - Being an enteprenuer/own boss has now become the it thing to do. Everyone wants to have their own thing going which is absolutely amazing however it also makes things a lot harder with so many start ups popping up everywhere as there is a more chance of fierce competition and failure. The statics based on a Harvard Business School Study show that 75% of start ups fail within the first year and Forbes stating a wooping 90% fail within their first year. So a level of boldness is needed to get into the enterpreneurship world.

So I have come up with some short but effective top tips on how to cultivate an attitude of boldness (from my exeperiance)

Make a list of your fears- "To kill the weed, you have to get to it's roots" - It is important to be aware and to understand the things that stop you from doing that thing that you want to do, personally for me when I wanted to start this blog I was affraid of people laughing at me and not respecting my views.

Make a plan on tackling those fears - Be proactive- As my parents always say fail to plan, plan to fail. You have to make the decision to tackle those obstacles in your way. Putting pen to paper and writting out a plan, I have found is more effective.

Adopt a "What's the worst that can happen" attitude to your fears - It's a simple saying but its true. I was afraid of people laughing at me and the worst thing that happened was them laughing at me - which they did with no shame. However when they were done laughing, there was nothing else left for them to do and those people are the same people who reach out saying they enjoy reading this blog.

Finally Do the unexpected - Do something new - Doing something new and unexpected might make you feel vulnerable or afraid but I promise you when you actually do it you will feel on top of the world and you feel like you can do anything! I remember when one of my friends took me dirt car racing I was super nervous and almost turned back. But when I did it mate, I was ready to sky dive.      ðŸ˜‚😂
It's important to always try something new personally every month or so I make it a point to try something new - not as extreme as dirt car racing that was a once in a life time experience but it can be something like doing a presentation in front of your biggest critics or changing your routine or changing your room layout or going to networking events etc..

I really hope these tips help you out and please do let know how you get on:
